Meet the Characters

Meet the Characters

Hello!

Welcome to the character section of Sacred Geometry School — the place where you can meet the dreamers, helpers, troublemakers, biscuit inspectors, mysterious cats, stubborn goats, and brightly dressed beings who wander through the books.

Some of them are wise. Some of them are chaotic. Some of them probably should not be left alone with a compass, a sandwich, or an important decision.

Together, they make up the world of Smudge, Biscuit, Lyra, Orin, Zia, and the rest of the Sacred Geometry School gang. Choose a character below to find out who they are, what they bring to the story, and whether they can be trusted near snacks.

Smudge

Smudge

Character

Dreamer. Teacher. Occasional disaster.

Smudge is the heart of Sacred Geometry School. He is curious, creative, clumsy, and usually only one small decision away from causing a scene. But beneath the chaos is a kind and determined soul who believes that patterns, patience, imagination, and a good pencil can help us find our way. Smudge does not always know what he is doing, which is often where the adventure begins.

Biscuit

Biscuit

Character

Faithful dog. Secretly the sensible one.

Biscuit is Smudge’s loyal companion and very important biscuit inspector. He may not say much, but he often understands things before everyone else does. Whether he is choosing the right path, keeping Smudge company, or expressing deep concern with one well-timed look, Biscuit brings instinct, loyalty, and a surprising amount of wisdom to the journey.

Lyra

Lyra

Character

The one who sees what could be.

Lyra dreams of a more beautiful world: one where nature, cities, patterns, and people fit together in harmony. She is imaginative, sensitive, and full of ideas, though she sometimes struggles to turn the picture in her mind into something real on the page. Lyra reminds us that every finished creation begins with a vision, even if the first circle comes out wonky.

Orin

Orin

Character

Precision enthusiast. Ruler owner. Obviously.

Orin believes that imagination is important, but accuracy helps bring imagination to life. He likes clean lines, careful tools, proper measurements, and the occasional dramatic reveal of a protractor. Fussy? Slightly. Useful? Definitely. Orin brings order, refinement, and a steady hand to the group, even when everyone else is getting distracted by mysterious glowing objects.

Zia

Zia

Character

Chaos carrier. Finder of strange things.

Zia arrives with energy, questions, and usually a backpack full of objects nobody asked for. Some are useful. Some are questionable. Some are probably sandwiches that should have been thrown away days ago. But Zia’s curiosity often leads the group exactly where they need to go. She is bold, funny, practical, and wonderfully unpredictable.

Whiskers

Whiskers

Character

Temple cat. Professional judge.

Whiskers is elegant, mysterious, and absolutely not to be rushed. She enters rooms as if they were built specially for her, which, in fairness, she probably believes they were. Whiskers has very high standards, especially regarding cushions, snacks, and human behaviour. She may look unimpressed most of the time, but when something matters, Whiskers usually knows.

Eryx

Eryx

Character

Logical. Precise. Deeply annoying.

Eryx is Lyra’s brother, and he has never met a desk he didn’t want to straighten or a drawing he didn’t want to criticise. He is sharp, logical, argumentative, and extremely pleased with his own opinions. Eryx can be irritating — spectacularly irritating — but he also brings an important contrast: the reminder that intelligence without kindness is not quite wisdom.

Dazzle

Dazzle

Character

Imagination in a jacket.

Dazzle is bright in every possible sense. He arrives with colour, warmth, enthusiasm, and a suit that ordinary eyes may need a moment to recover from. Dazzle helps others remember that imagination is not just daydreaming. It is a way of seeing, feeling, wondering, and finding possibilities that were hidden a moment before. Subtle? Not even slightly.

Tether

Tether

Character

Untangler of knots. Keeper of practical sense.

Tether is calm, direct, and extremely good with ropes, knots, loops, and difficult truths. She has a way of helping people see when they are going round in circles, then gently — or not so gently — pointing them back towards the path. Tether brings preparation, discipline, and quiet strength to the adventure. She is not flashy. She is useful, which is better.

Trevor

Trevor

Character

No-nonsense goat. Bridge problem. Unexpected help.

Trevor is a goat who knows how to stand in the way with impressive commitment. At first glance, he appears stubborn, judgemental, and very much not moving. But Trevor has more to him than a firm “no.” Once he has a reason to join the journey, he becomes practical, determined, and surprisingly helpful. His kindness has horns, but it is kindness all the same.
